Overview

Helambu trekking trip in Nepal includes complete services Arrival from Kathmandu international to Final Departure after trip end. For this trip, you have to stay at least 3 nights in Kathmandu. During stay in Kathmandu, we have included complete sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley which includes Kathmandu Durbar Square (Known as Hanuman dhoka Durbar square or Basantapur durbar) including Kasthamandap ( building made by one tree), Living goddess- Kumari House, Many temples including Shiva Parvati, Taleju Bhawani, Kaal Bhairav etc. We further visit Swoyambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa (the biggest stupa in the World) & Pasupatinath temple (Hindus temple). All these 4 Monuments of Kathmandu city are listed in UNESCO world Heritage sites and this is about a 6 hours tour for second day of your trip.Helambu trek is a relatively low altitude one and because it is close to Kathmandu, it is convenient yet surprisingly free of trekkers. The trek passes through some beautiful forests and very interesting villages on route. Along the way, we visit the homes of Brahmins, Tamangs and Sherpa people of Nepal. In the Helambu region, the Sherpas are quite distinct from the Sherpas of the Everest region in both language and customs. The ranges of mountains that rise above us match the diversity of the people we meet. From low altitudes, we have excellent views of mountains that include the Langtang range, the Annapurnas, Manaslu and even Everest on a clear day. Mountain Hiking & Trekking, you can expect the very best service and specialist knowledge on your Helambu trek. All our Helambu treks are led by experienced Local Sherpa guides, most of who have minimum 10 years experience. We provide you clean & comfortable room for good night sleep in our Helambu trek.

Extra Info

    Travel insurance

Travel Insurance is mandatory for all customers who looking to travel in Nepal with the Mountain Hiking & Trekking .The Travel Insurance must cover both the evacuation and medical cost

There are many insurance companies that offer travel insurance services over the internet. You can choose from a wide variety of insurance companies as per your convenience. Especially when it comes to trekking in Nepal, there is always a narrow chance of minor health issues, injuries and most importantly – altitude sickness.

It is essential that you prefer an insurance rule that covers the cost of the helicopter rescue from the mountains in case of main accidents and delicate mountain sickness (AMS). through such great cases of an emergency evacuation, a helicopter service is the only way out of the mountains. This includes a rescue team for both – ground evacuation and rescue. Which is why we need your travel insurances to cover the cost of helicopter services and evacuation from the Himalayas

It is forever recovered to be safe than apologetic.

Before you plan your trip with Mountain Hiking & Trekking do make sure that your travel insurance covers all the costs mentioned above from a reliable company.
