EBC trekking doesn’t require you to have extraordinary body fitness. However, your body must be in proper shape and condition to endure long hours of trekking for some days in a row. Ensure that you do not have any problems with your skeleton, especially in the ankle and knees, and other areas that might hamper your trekking directly and turn into misery. Few previous trekking experiences can put you an advantage, as your body will have learned ways to adapt to the high altitude areas. Similarly, doing some exercises prior to the trek helps you to make your body in proper condition and shape. EBC trekking is not an easy trek, however, it isn’t difficult either; this doesn’t involve any technical climbing. Though trekking in other season is also possible, you might end up experiencing one of the miserable treks you’ve ever had in your life.
You shall be staying at lodges, hotels, and teahouses throughout the trek. There are plenty of teahouses at regular intervals in the trail, you shall not have any problem to accommodate it. However, keep in mind that you need to pay sufficient attention to personal hygiene and care, eat hygienic food, and drink plenty of clean water. Since you would be taking lots of photos, do not forget to bring a sufficient number of batteries that you think would be sufficient to snap lots of shots during this 15 days journey.
