Tukuche Peak Climbing

Tukuche (6920m) peak is one of the best Himalaya in Annapurna Region near Dhaulagiri I. This is considered as low risky expedition. After ascent up to Tukuche peak you can see plenty of mountain ranges such as Annapurna Ranges, Tilicho, Nilgiri and also beautiful villages such as Marpha, Tukuche, Syang, Jomsom. The journey came to end at Jomsom and then fly back to Kathmandu.





Itinerary Details of Tukuche Peak Climbing

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu airport and Hotel transfer;

Day 02: We meet all other expedition members and the leader, conduct initial briefing and preparations and we will have an opportunity to do last minute shopping in Kathmandu

Day 03: We take 6hrs a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (914m). Alternatively you can take a 25mins flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara; hotel accommodation

Day 04: We take 90mins drive from Pokhara to the trailhead in Nayapool (1050m) and trek 4hrs from Nayapul to Tikhedunga (1577m) via Birethanti (1065m); lodge accommodation or camping

Day 05: We trek 6hrs from Tikhedunga to Ghorepani (2675m); lodge accommodation or camping

Day 06: After enjoying early morning hike to Poon Hill (3180m) for sunrise view, we trek 5hrs to Tatopani (2520m). From Poon Hill we will view the sunrise over Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m), Varaha Shikhar (7847m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna III (7855m), Machapuchere (6993m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna II (7937m), Lamjung Himal (6931m) and other numerous snow-capped mountain peaks; lodge accommodation or camping

Day 07: We trek 6hrs from Tatopani to Ghasa (2010m); the trek follows the Kali Gandaki valley; we will walk along the Kali Gandaki riverside, slowly climbing into sub-tropical flora areas; lodge accommodation or camping

Day 08: We trek 5hrs from Ghasa to Larjung (2550m); We will walk along the narrow ravine of Kali Gandaki River, and we will passing through Thakali traditional villages; lodge accommodation or camping

Day 09: We trek 4hrs from Larjung to Maphra (2670m); we will continue along the Kali Gandaki River; we will pass Khobang village with the with quaint allies and tunnels connecting the houses; lodge accommodation or camping

Day 10: We trek 5hrs from Marpha to Yak Kharka (3680m) via Alubari; camping.

Day 11: We trek 6hrs from Yak Kharka to Tukuche Base Camp (5100m); camping.

Day 12-20: Climbing Period; summit Tukuche (6920m);

Day 21: We trek 4hrs from Tukuche Base Camp to Yak Kharka (3680m); camping

Day 22: We trek 6hrs from Yak Kharka to Jomsom (2720m); lodge accommodation or camping.

Day 23: We take 25mins flight to Pokhara (915m); leisure time in Pokhara; hotel accommodation.

Day 24: We take 6hrs a scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Alternatively you can take a 25mins flight to Kathmandu; hotel accommodation

Day 25: We trek 3hrs from Pothana to Dhampus Phedi and take 30mins drive to Pokhara.

Day 26: We take 6hrs a scenic drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Alternatively you can take a 25mins flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu; hotel accommodation

Day 27: Full Day sightseeing in Kathmandu valley (Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath & Pashupatinath); Farewell-Celebration dinner in the evening.

Day 28: Transfer to the airport for final departure or alternatively join other activities
